I
live and work in Richmond, Surrey. I take my
inspiration from the nature around me, particularly in Richmond Park,
my allotment and Sheepleas Woods in Surrey, which I often visit. I
trained at Farnham School of Art, Camberwell School of Art and
Goldsmith's College, where I studied etching. I spent a year in
Japan studying calligraphy and woodblock printing and spent many years
printmaking at Richmond Adult College, which included
etching and linocut printing. For the past few years I have been
concentrating on watercolour illustrations of plants and natural forms.
